Daniel McFadden. wait who’s that?

After graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia in 1986, Daniel McFadden began his career working as a National Makeup Artist for Chanel. He then joined The Pierre and Carlo Day Spa in the heart of Philadelphia, as Makeup Director, to manage their highly successful cosmetic department.

In 1998, Daniel relocated to Los Angeles and teamed up with Jose Eber Atelier assuming top billing as the …National Makeup Director for all 10 salons. After 16 years in the industry, he launched his own product line, Daniel McFadden Cosmetics, located at Prive Salon in Los Angeles and New York. Daniel’s has become a nationally recognized makeup artist after his repeated appearances on Extreme Makeover, Dr. Phil, Living It Up! with Ali & Jack, Extra, E!, Style Network, and The Learning Channel.

Daniel McFadden Cosmetics has recently formed a Wholesale Division to make its products available to upscale salons in major cities across the country. Daniel has personally selected the product offerings and colors to reflect today’s styles and attitudes. The Daniel McFadden Cosmetic line has received extensive coverage in leading magazines including Elle, In Style, Self, In Touch, Travel & Leisure, US Weekly, People, and Life & Style.

For Daniel, a fabulous cut and color have much bigger impact if the lipstick, shadow and foundation are complimentary – and, unfortunately, for many businesswomen, makeup is often an afterthought. Also known for his spectacular eyebrows, Daniel waxes and tweezes a woman’s brow to expertly frame the face. Once clients have experienced Daniel’s knowing application, they’ll appreciate that makeup need not be too heavy or too light and can be just right.

Taking time to understand each client and how they want to feel, results in sexy flattering finished products. Daniel has garnered an impressive list of celebrity clients including: Teri Hatcher, Reese Witherspoon, Virginia Madsen, Kelly Preston, Paula Abdul, Brooke Shields, Christina Ricci, Rachel Griffiths, Nicky Hilton, and Jessica Simpson
